Dan: Okay, so peanut butter. Creamy or crunchy?
Me: That’s not even a question. Crunchy.
Dan: Really?!?! Me too. Only 3% of Americans prefer crunchy over smooth. That’s why the commercials are always creamy.
I looked into his claim and couldn’t prove it. But, I did find out that men and people on the west coast prefer crunchy to creamy. I guess I slipped through the cracks.
And apparently, people who become hysterical when peanut butter sticks to the roof of their mouth are said to have “Arachibutyrophobia.”
Who knew.
